Upcoming deployment of 10Gb switch

In the club, we expect to migrate all the servers from 1Gb to 10Gb internal network connectivity.
That will be beneficial also since our Virtual Machines use network storage.

We started preparing our HP 5412zl switch:
- upgraded firmware all the way to the one that properly supports SFP+ modules
- installed and tested SFP+ extension cards
- configured the required VLANs

Our new 10Gb switch

In the near future, we plan to install 10Gb NICs into our servers, and upgrade the connectivity speed! stay tuned
